Civil Geotechnical Engineering: repair of slope failures, foundations of civil and industrial buildings, deep excavations, retaining walls, pile foundations, soil improvements, rock slopes, interpretation of site investigations, geotechnical and geophysical surveys, etc.;
Road and High Speed Railway Engineering: design of highway embankments, retaining structures, viaducts foundations, provisional structures, excavations, high speed train vibrations induced in ground, etc.
Civil Structural Engineering: sheet piles, struts and anchorages design, modal analyses of bridges, etc.
Field Supervisor Activities: assistance and supervision to geotechnical site investigation (offshore from shallow water to deep water and onshore), field tests on piles, tie rods, soil nailing, micropiles and piles.
Teaching Activities: speaker for the lessons on the geotechnical onshore and offshore design for the Master on “Design of Oil & Gas Plant” held in University of Bologna (years 2012, 2013 and 2014) on behalf of Eni Corporate University, Eni Division E&P and Tecnomare. Speaker at various courses on Offshore Geotechnical Design organized by Saipem (year 2012).
